Gelassenheit
Let things be as they are,
It's all this decision making
That has us by the throats.
You think I'm a fool because I get drunk
And talk in many minds,
Because I try making my mind
A formless thing, like
Water in a glass and so
Forget to pay the rent.
Because I lock myself in
Closed rooms, laughing,
And wake remembering nothing.
Well I follow my lies to conclusion,
Watching the worlds autumn
Turn to winter,
Watching the soils heal over in grief.
Time corrodes the shawl and
Pulls back on truth,
As clouds driven like horses
Into the mouth of further darkness.
